For the grown-ups

A gentle start.
A real connection.

We’re creating Fiddlewood around the joy of making music: listening, trying, and finding the courage to play one more little note.

Designed for little beginners,
with a grown-up beside them.

Who is Fiddlewood for?

Fiddlewood is being created for beginning violinists around ages 5–9, with a parent, caregiver, or teacher helping them get set up. The starting point is curiosity, not previous musical experience.

Will my child need a real violin?

Yes, a properly sized violin is part of the playing experience. Listening, clapping, and rhythm activities offer ways to join in too. A violin teacher can help with instrument fit, tuning, and a comfortable playing setup.

Does Fiddlewood replace a violin teacher?

Fiddlewood is designed to be a companion to learning and practice. A teacher’s personal guidance is still valuable, especially for posture, bow hold, instrument setup, and choosing the right next step.

When can we play?

Fiddlewood is in development for iPad. A release date and pricing haven’t been announced yet. Join the launch list and we’ll share updates as the adventure takes shape.
